Thank you! I know ppl who have pets and dont do a single thing about it and when they hurt someone they blame the victim and dont realize the dog and the person who got bit is the real victim and they the owners are pieces of sh*ts for being irresponsible owners.

A dog barking at the door is a good thing in my eyes. My dog god bless her soul used to bark as soon as someone touched my gate. Why would you not want an early warning that someone is there and why would you not want a potential intruder to not hear a dog behind the door

There's a good chance your dog knows the location of the doorbell sound source. Try an e-collar. You can use one that gently vibrates. This can be adjusted. No shocking.
